A terrible battle has decimated the ranks of the Paladins of Crystalia. The enemy has been pushed back for a time, but the death toll includes the leader of the Paladins, Otto's father.
Now the Paladins must vote for a new head, someone to lead them against the forces of darkness and restore peace in the kingdom. At first Otto has no interest in the role, preferring to serve on quests throughout the kingdom. But when the candidates are chosen, Otto finds himself pitted against a man whose loyalty to the light is in question. To protect the integrity of the Royal Paladins, Otto must investigate the secrets of the castle.
