I loved Prince Richard Antonio David Nicklaus (aka Rick). The way he and Ellie rubbed each other the wrong way from the beginning, ultimately resulting in her broken arm and sprained ankle miles from civilization was well written. And then the way they began to look at each other differently. Very sweet.

I am glad that Jonathan was in this story again. I loved getting to know him in two of the other books by Carol Moncado. And he was such a gallant gentleman. Nice.

Possibly my favorite moment in the book was when Rick happened upon Ellie while she was being belittled by Glenn. It was absolutely perfect!

This was an enjoyable second book to the series. I'm looking forward to reading the next one.
