Rylee Kincaid is an owner of a business but she is need of money. She looks for an investor. She thinks she is on the verge of expanding if she has a little more money and time. She has an account she is about to land with a little more time. Rylee’s last option is get Hunter to invest and not but her out.
Hunter Finnegan wants Rylee and will stop at nothing to get her to spend time with him. Hunter comes across as a hard ball investor and negotiator. He pushes Rylee outside her comfort zone. He also holds a secret that no one else seems to know that could change Rylee mind about him.
The connection between Hunter and Rylee is intense. Hunter pushes the limit on what is consent. He backs Rylee into a corner to the point you wonder if she really is doing this because she wants to or because she feels like she has too to get the money to make her business survive. The sex scenes are scorching.
I found this book well written with a distinctive plot. The main characters and the secondary characters were fascinating. While the ending was a little predictable, the book is filled with twists and turns that keep the reader interested. Overall, this was a very intriguing book and I hope to see these characters again in the future.
