This text provides the trainer with simulated workplace situations to facilitate training to develop interpersonal skills. Role plays are provided which cover many of the challenging situations participants are likely to face (career counselling, assertiveness training, absenteeism and conflict handling). At the same time, full planning guidance is provided, including observer checklists, a timing checklist, guidance on how to choose a role play, how to deal with reviewing and debriefing and how to handle questions.
