A Conquistador brings back to Spain a golden eagle, stolen from its Indian owners. The bird visits nothing but bad luck and disaster upon its subsequent owners. In Paris, it is purchased by the Nazis, but disappears in mysterious circumstances. Years later, a Spanish historian, a descendant of the Conquistador, begins a search for the treasure. Unknowingly, she alerts an old Nazi ant triggers a frantic chase across France and Germany. Will she find it? Will the Nazi triumph? Is the bird cursed?
