The shorter format worked for these stories. It meant there weren't quite so many endless battles, even though there was still a lot of action. I liked that we got Evangelia's point of view which was fresh and interesting and less pedantic than Gabi's even though she's the younger sister. Plus it gave the reader a chance to know Luca more who's fun and not have to deal with the Greco drama.
I think I may have preferred Bourne storyline. Alessandra was an interesting new character and I liked her, but the plot overall wasn't as engaging. I'd have liked to have spent more time with her and Greco. But the plot was enough for the shorter story. And it was fun to spend more time with the characters in quick and easy stories.
