Abbabuwa's Mountain is an adventure story for children aged 8 to early teens. It is part fantasy, but set against real-life indifference to the environment by adults obsessed with greed. Sam Spillet undertakes a terrifying journey, through forests overrun with wolves, bears and wild boar, to a mountain cave. He must find the mysterious Abbabuwa, and discover the awesome power of Nature with which Becky, Archie and Sam can uncover corruption amongst the Bryant's School governors, and save the ancient trees of Willowmarsh from being bulldozed. The only problem is, Abbabuwa, and most of the animals in his unspoilt, natural world, just hate human beings.!
