This is Volume II. of my Mind Stream trilogy. Searching for some missing documents I opened a metal file box that had been there in my miscellany for years. I noticed several envelopes of early writings that I had more or less forgotten about. Some of the writing was excerpts from journals that I had compiled in the 1970s, which led me to review other journals and realize that in the heat of the writing discipline I had adopted in the days when I was first discovering the world of the mind, there were occasionally-occurring insights, glimpses into a joie de vivre of creativity, that seemed to me worth sharing. Reviewing these found packets I found, to my surprise, that during their writing I knew everything I needed to know...problem was (is) remembering it, keeping it disentangled. This is what art does, reminds you of the eternal, that this passing beautiful dance is just that, transitory, while you are the unchanging source.
