I don't normally read crime thrillers, but I took a chance on this one and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I particularly enjoyed Curt's thoughts and views about the environment and culture as he tried to make sense of what the protagonists had got themselves into.

I'd definitely pick up another Mike Bond book.
