I rarely read on my iPad anymore except when I have some e-arcs that need to get read. I found this one in my iPad library and was surprised I hadn’t read it yet. As much as I prefer Clayton’s Redhead series, this sequel was what I wanted it to be! I can't wait to continue in the series to see where Caroline and Simon will bring us next.

Soooo... That was upsetting. As much as I loved 1st book 2nd unfortunately disappointed me. I know that new fresh relationships are passionate and hot... But where is simple human talk? Why you decided to solve all your problems through sex? It's unhealthy? And in this book still works with only one intervention? That's not real (neither other romances I've read but still, this is beyond my understanding).

I checked this out of the eLibrary on a whim. I did not read/listen to the first book, but it was not difficult to get into the story. I really liked Clayton's humor. I laughed a lot. I also liked the way she showed the evolution of a relationship. It was very real, and as much as I read to escape, I appreciate a little bit of reality in my books.

This book had a cool bromance, and fun female relationships. I love books like this! And Simon! The way you saw his love for Caroline grow. How he was changing his ways a little, in order to settle in with a woman for the first time. I fell in love with Simon. I also really enjoy rom-coms, and this one had a lot of rom-com. Totally did not see that epilogue coming, but it was hilarious.

Overall, fun read, and I will definitely tag in for more Alice Clayton.

Rusty Nailed picks up pretty much where we left off in Wallbanger, with Simon and Caroline seemingly on their way to their happily ever after. And, much like Wallbanger, Rusty Nailed is a flirty, fast-paced read that you're sure to enjoy.

While Rusty Nailed gave me a few good laughs, it wasn't nearly as entertaining as Wallbanger was. Also, that epilogue...Really? An epilogue from the pet's POV again? Gee, thanks. No one cares about the cat's pov! Oh well, maybe we'll get a real epilgue in Last Call! I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I really enjoyed Rusty Nailed. It was fun to see how life changed for Simon and Caroline. A fun, sexy read. Full review to come.

Delightful and delicious. I love Alice Clayton. I need her to write more new books. Her characters are fun, quirky and sexy and I just can't get enough.
