I loved Flat Out Love so passionately, and Celeste was absolutely brilliant, the real star of the book. She doesn't feature heavily in Flat Out Matt, as it is a very short novella with only a few scenes. I much preferred the original. Flat Out Matt didn't have the same magic, and where the original novel concentrated on the family dynamics, Flat Out Matt surrounds just Matt and Julie mostly.
I would have loved a Celeste novella, she is what made Flat Out Love brilliant. Easily one of the most enchanting characters of 2012.
