This was one I went ahead and bought on the recommendation of Memoria Press Junior Kindergarten. It is a lovely type of illustration that seems unique to Demi and they are fabulous to look at. This is an interesting little story about honesty. I think it will be a very good read for our shelves and I look forward to sharing it with my daughter when we come to it as a read aloud. We read this again today. So lovely. This time to my Rascal (5), Princess (8), and Mermaid Warrior (2.5). Even my AppleBlossom (10) was listening from the other room and remembering this story. A great addition to our China study with Beautiful Feet Books Around the World with Picture Books Volume 1. We love Demi and I wish I could have more of her books around.
