Can Thomas and his friends stop someone from getting a magical staff?

Thomas Wildus

Thomas Wildus is our main character and someone that is a mission to save the world...again. He is trying to figure out how to do that while not getting his normal friends into the trouble that he has caused. Thomas is still a great character from book one as he has evolved not only in knowing when to use his magic but also to be there for the people that are important to him. What I like about Thomas is that he knows when it's safe to use magic and when it isn't. The second thing is when it's a great time to admit defeat. Also, he is better at knowing when it's time to joke about something.

The Story

Thomas, Enqriue, and the others in their magical group are trying to figure out what Arius, the last big bad guy, is trying to do this time. It's a bit harder for them this time as they are dealing with a force that they never thought would be there. Also, their compound has been leaked to the enemy. The whole group is training and trying to do everything in their power to be ready for this and to figure out what they are trying to get to first. Let's just say that wow was this story is complex and exciting at the same time. I loved every minute of it, and I am shocked as to who the big bad was in this round. It will be amazing to see what will happen in the next installment.

Thomas Wildus and the Wizard of Sumeria by J.M. Bergen is another excellent book. Mr. Bergen has a fantastic second story. I like this incredible world, and I can't wait to see where Mr. Bergen is going to go with the next story. Thomas and his friends are a fantastic group of people to help try to save the world one object of power at a time.

This an enjoyable sequel in this series that follows nicely on the heels of the event from the first book. The stakes are raised and all the magical elements that you come to love are amped up even more as our characters explore their powers even more. As the story proceeds more info about Thomas missing farther are revealed and of course their life lessons to learn along the way.

In this part of the series our characters are now 14 so those in the same age range will easily see themselves in the shoes of these characters. Like any second book you are introduced to new characters, more training of powers, and of course a wonderful quest to find a magical object.

I am invested and can’t wait for the next installment that hopefully will lead Thomas to finding his farther or else we at least will get another fantastic adventure.
