Really good audio. The male narrator had a perfect Texas drawl that really worked for Silas!

Oh holy Silas Moore, Batman. I literally have no idea if that makes sense, but WOW. I've found my new bookish crush and it's none other than Silas Moore! I was looking to read something completely different after Accidental Superstar, and spotted All Broke Down (after doing three chapters of a book I couldn't get into) and BOOM! I was gone, this was it, I had to read it and I had to keep reading until I'd finished. Oops. A Sunday WELL spent, actually, because I've read two completely opposite books but both were amazing.

New Adult is one of my favourite genres, because it's like Chick Lit and Young Adult had a baby and the result was New Adult, woohoo and Cora Carmack was one of the very first NA authors I ever read and I love her work (Losing It, Faking It & Finding It are insanely good, go read them, then start on the Rusk books). I remember not being too hot on All Lined Up, but re-reading my thoughts on it, I quite enjoyed it, but it kind of put me off continuing the series until now and I actually can't believe that because All Broke Down was amazing. Mostly because of Silas, but also because of Dylan.

Despite Dylan and Silas's complicated pasts, this is actually one of the most fun, and relatively issue-free new adult books I've ever read. Yes, Silas is a hot head, prone to using his fists rather than his words, but when he realises his spot on the team is in jeopardy, he turns to Dylan for help on fixing him (and there would be plenty of people lining up for THAT job) and the two begin this weird relationship, because neither want commitment, but neither actually notice that they're quite clearly perfect for each other. And they so were, the complimented each other so well and their chemistry was off the charts. So off the charts, I could barely put the book down!

I really enjoyed All Broke Down. So, so much. I loved Dylan and Silas, I loved their banter, their chemistry, everything about them, their relationship was the most uncomplicated complicated relationship of all time, but it just worked. I genuinely can't wait to read All Played Out because TORRES. He's grown on me, so I'm excited to see him get his own book next! This is a stellar NA book, I really enjoyed it.

Take one shell of a girl, add one broken boy, mix them together and you get a great little romance.

This RU book focuses on our resident bad boy, Silas, and our straight laced activist, Dylan. This book made me fall in love with Silas. I really hated him after book 1, but in this book, we uncover his layers and find out what makes him tick. He evolves and determines what is important to him. Dylan is new, but I loved her immediately. You could tell how fiercely loyal she was from the get-go. The two of them together was so sweet. I also liked that we got to know a bunch of the other players better. The RU football community is growing for me and I cannot help, but want to know more about them.

They all need romance - Zay, Teo, Ryan, Stella, even Matt. I would read them all

Another great addition to this Rusk University series. Silas and Dylan were both interesting characters that I came to love over the course of the book. I enjoyed them together and apart. It was great to see the growth in Silas' character from the first book and then throughout this one. He was my favorite part of this book and understanding his background, what made him tick and what drove him in life really shed light on what I was bothered by with him in All Lined Up.

Dylan was a great character as well. I loved seeing her chip away at Silas until he was the person she always thought he could be and seeing the character development within her own character was pretty sweet too. She came a long way from the shy girl Silas first met and I thought she was perfect for Silas.

I cannot wait for Nell and Torres' book. I'm so freaking anxious.

Cora Carmack is an outstanding writer. She knows just what to write about to capture the reader's interests and keep them reading until the book ends.

I loved reading this story so much. God knows how many times I fanned my face, thinking "this is so hot!" I can't believe I am jealous of a fictional character...over a fictional character. I want Silas for myself, pretty please!

This story introduces a new character, Dylan who is a reserved person and she loves to help and save others. Silas is in need of saving. When he meets Dylan, he is immediately captivated by her and can't stop thinking about her. Silas reaches out to Dylan, asking to be fixed and she gladly agrees--she goes out of her way to help him.

They create a friendship but each one knows about the feelings they are having for one another.

Silas is a very bad, troubled boy who the reader can't help but love. The reader can feel the sadness and loneliness he is really feeling and it is so sad to read about. He reaches out for a lifeline and that lifeline is Dylan. The two are amazing--as friends, as lovers--and I am so glad they got their happy ending. I'm glad Dylan stood up to her parents and made them listen to how she was feeling all those years.

Silas was looking to be fixed, and while Dylan was helping him, Silas helped her to become more out going, to stand up for herself, to confront situations she wouldn't have confronted before. Each character grew and developed before the reader's eyes.

Once again, Cora, amazing story!

I loved Carson and Dallas' story, and while they're not the focus of All Broke Down, they are still in the picture. I thought I would miss them too much to enjoy Silas and Dylan' story, but I was WRONG. And thank God for that. Dylan reminded me more of myself, so that may have to do with it. That, and Silas is just as delicious as Carson was—different, but just as sexy.
