Serenity, daughter of a rival MC President, is forced into spying on the Sinner's MC by her sadistic father. Beaten and fearful, she begrudgingly does her father's bidding. But when she meets Jackson, there is something about him that draws her to him. Jackson feels the same pull, but he does his best to fight it. There is a big age difference between the two, but Serenity proves she can more than handle Jackson and often does. There is is a chemistry between these two that makes you want them together, even when Jackson is a complete ass.
Things get ugly between the Sinner's and Serenity's father's MC. U-G-L-Y! Of course, when that happens, Serenity is caught right in the middle. But I loved the way the majority of the Sinners and the girls stood up for Serenity and protected her. She needed to understand that despite how she was raised, she was worth loving. That went a long way in helping Serenity deal with the fallout.
Bella Jewel is the reason I gave MC stories another try. She developed some absolutely fantastic characters and storylines that were engaging and kept me turning the page. I've loved each book and they only got better as the series continued. This is a series I highly recommend and I look forward to more of what Ms. Jewel has coming.
