Oof that ending did not make any lick of sense. It felt way to rushed. Toward the end I was like wow we’re gonna need another book to fully explain this situation! Liam is still so fucking annoying but this time, Mallory made me mad too! Go to an area with out cameras and fucking tell him the whole situation!! Not hard!! My god does she do some stupid shit. I think she just goes about life with luck on her shoulder because she gets out of situations with dumb luck. The ending was the ultimate deux ex machina! Wtf. Why would Saint have to be “dead”? He really didn’t have to die! Is the child also a secret from the government? If so how are they going to explain that any other future children have a dead dad who “died” way before they were born. What happens if she dies and he has trouble with custody? Why make Liam discover them? He’s literally the worst! He’ll just get drunk and confront them or do something equally as shitty. When did Saint have time to draft a will naming Mallory as the sole inheritor? Either way, I’m glad the 2 made it out but this ending made me sad. Also their lack of communication.
