Raven-Scar is a 'What if' short story aimed at young teenagers. The village of Ravenscar has an air of mystery around it; a town that may have been built in and around the later half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. What if two teenagers had been drawn into a time slip and ended up in the past in a town, that in their time did not exist, but in this other time does? An interesting theory perhaps? Robert Marshall is an ex-Baker and Confectioner also known to the motor-cycle fraternity due to being a member of Auto-66 Marshalls Association. He, and Muriel, his wife, moved through various work related places to finally retire in Scarborough. With time on his hands he decided to do something that had eluded him for a long time, so he took to writing at the age of 69 and has published articles in various magazines, most of which deal with nostalgia. Aiming to bring a different dimension to writing for the younger generation this is his first short story.
