Quirky Cat
Summary:
Makoto Kowata is a witch. Or rather, she's a witch in training. As such, she has packed up all her belongings (and cat) to live with distant relatives. It's a bit of a family tradition – a way of sending young witches out into the world - but in a gentler way.
All things said and done, Makoto has gotten pretty comfortable in her new (temporary?) home. More importantly, she's started to act more witchy. It helps that she has a young aspiring witch that she can assist.
Review:
Once again, I adore how magical and relaxing this series is. Flying Witch Vol. 5 exceeded my expectations, continuing this witchy slice-of-life adventure. Best of all, we're seeing more of the magical world and how it operates!
It seems like the longer this series goes on, the more we'll get to see Chinatsu's magical journey. Personally, I love this. We have a witch decently along in her training - and now a witch at the beginning of hers. It's fantastic getting to see these two sides.
Obviously, my favorite parts are still the magical animals and items, but that's no real surprise. I'm looking forward to seeing what adventures await in volume 6.
