If you love the tale of the Little Mermaid then this series by Tobie Easton is for you. The first book Emerge is a must read as this the sequel and boy are you in for some twists and turns in the Little Mermaid retelling that spans a lot more then you think you know about the tale. I did think that it dragged a bit in the middle where Lia is coming to grips with the result from the trial it seemed that the resolution took a while to get their. Once that resolution is put into place though things do start to pick up. I was blown away with where the story went and ended and i am eager to pick up book three.
