Cream-Pied is the newest addition to the DTF series which will have you laughing right from the beginning. Told from the first-person point of view, Cream-Pied is a fake relationship romantic comedy with a powerful message. "The best thing you can do is say a prayer and keep going. Never stop. You'll get to where you need to go eventually" - Nikki.
Weston knows that his parents are getting ready to retire and he wants to be the one that they sign over the business too. Wanting to impress his parents with the perfect woman, he comes up with a plan to have Crystal Cream Pie pretend to be his fiancé to make them think he has grown up and ready to take on the family business. Nikki, a.k.a. Crystal Cream Pie has been stripping at The Steamy Clam to pay off her debt but what she did not expect was for a proposal to come from it from the awkward bearded guy that was at all her performances. Even though it is a fake relationship, how could she say no to pretending to be the perfect fiancé in exchange for the ability to not only help Weston get what he wanted and help put her closer to her goals of being debt-free. It's a win-win situation. What could go wrong?
Kat Addams gets funnier with every book. I was laughing so much through this book that my sides hurt. Weston is incredibly awkward and constantly puts his foot in his mouth. Nikki is such a strong woman who knows her goals and dreams. These two were perfect for each other as Weston made Nikki feel loved and wanted and Nikki helped Weston realize that there is a whole different world then what he knew. Weston's Ma seems like the perfect southern mama but she and his dad will shock you. Bessie is the best moody cow ever! I can not wait for the next addition to the DTF series with Whip It Out.
