"The Tales of Splinterdorf, Volume 1" is a story about family, albeit a rather "different" family. Splinterdorf is the baby in a family of tacwols, residing at the base of Mount Live on a planet in a faraway galaxy. Tacwols are large creatures distinguished by their three legs, one huge eye, and loooong rolled-up-tight ears that can be unrolled if there is a need to hear faraway noises.
