Lucy the Cat wakes up early on a sunny morning, then goes out to visit all the animals on the farm. Most of them are friendly, but the bull turns out to be a troublemaker. The last page of each book is set up checkerboard style with summarizing pictures accompanied by bilingual captions in each square.
