The UK construction industry requires significant change in response to the continuing pressure to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve the quality of its product. New working practices and procedures are necessary if the industry is to meet client expectations and deliver them with increased speed of construction, lower costs and zero defects. A principal factor in achieving this is through the greater uptake in innovation in the processes and the products employed.
