A First Family of Tasajaria opens with the description of the description of a general store of Sidon settlement. The opening dialogue is spoken by Joe Wingate. The authors prepares the readers for the ensuing events involving the people living in the stttlement, especially the family of Tasajara.
The book deals with the hardships faced by the family members and how they overcome the adverse circumstances in the early days of settlement. The description is realistic and the dialect is equally compelling. The author is able to add to the realism with the use of local dialect and the behaviour of the members of the family.
