This exploration of religion and food through festivals provides an introduction to Judaism including Passover, Bar Mitzvah, Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah. Included is the history of Jewish persecution and migration, Israeli farming, the kibbutz and the moshav, as well as a description of food significance and symbolism such as the Seder meal.
