Comic book artist extraordinaire Howard Chaykin has created all-new original
artwork to grace the cover of Hermes Press' upcoming collection of
Agent 13 stories into a deluxe graphic novel. Agent 13 is man-of-mystery,
in the mold of The Shadow and Doc Savage, who battles the evil Brotherhood and
its hideous leader, Itsu, in the pre-World War II era. The two extended stories
which comprise this collection, "The Midnight Avenger" and the
"Acolytes of Darkness," bristle with pulp sensibilities and were
crafted by Flint Dille (Transformers, G.I. Joe) and Dave Marconi
(Die Hard III, Enemy of the State). These adventures are further
complemented with art created by comics legend Dan
Spiegle.
