I liked this book, I swear. I actually laughed quite a bit, when Anna was talking about the facility she was in. Totally made me flashback to my own in-patient stints. Anna was really honest, and I really appreciated the growth she experienced, but I feel like she was maybe a little too angsty for me. Don't get me wrong. I understood that she was supposed to be angsty, but I have my limits when it comes to that. Neither here, nor there, I am still curious to see what happened to her, and will most likely check out the next book.

Eh. Between Amanda Seyfried reading the book and the predictable story line I nearly didn't finish this book. This book really only skims the whole mental illness thing and makes it sound like people can just get better by being themselves. There are no real therapy sessions in this book and only a passing sentence about medications. It's more about the friendship of these teens than anything having to do with real mental illness. It's a lost opportunity to talk about a real thing that teens (and kids and adults) have to deal with.
