Just for the heck of it.
It's all for fun. Reading, writing and publishing, poetry. If you say, that's my idea of fun and games. But, I tell myself, have fun, yes, but don't be wanton. After all, wanton is no fun. Wanton means you eat and eat and eat till you are fat and big and billowy, and find difficulty breathing, and all. So, not wanton, but fun.
Then too, Edward Lear, that delightful 19th-century nonsense classicist, with his classic A Book of Nonsense, nonsense songs, nonsense stories, nonsense botany, nonsense alphabets, and all, is quite an inspiration, and quite a lot to my liking.
So, I hope you find me not wanton, but have as much fun reading as I had writing my stuff here in this volume.
