Mary Ann Rivers has left me speechless, again. Sam, Sam, Sam. I knew you were going to be interesting, little did I know how interesting. This one hit all the right notes for me.

Mary Ann Rivers has the ability to take my breath away and make me laugh in the same paragraph..heck, maybe even the same sentence. I was extremely curious about Sam upon meeting him in the first book in the Burnside Series, Live. I knew then, that Sam’s story was going to be a doozy. I have to say that I got so much more than I expected from his story. At the beginning of the book, I thought that Sam was going to the guy who is good looking and uses it to his advantage and I imagine he did before he met Nina.
