The world believes the Bermuda Triangle has claimed another aircraft, lost in a hurricane and the underwater search begins. Peter Talbert, private accident investigator has his doubts. Working closely with Charlie Simpson, female insurance executive, he wonders if there could be another solution. He flies to Bermuda, Phoenix and around the Caribbean Islands searching for a solution, surviving two attempts on his life. He finally convinces the St. Antony Chief of Police that a crime has been committed but there is no aircraft and nor are there any paintings. Finally, in Charlie's room for the first time, he suddenly realises what he must do to try and prevent the pictures being lost forever.
