Stub (a ticket stub) is left on the floor in a museum. He is trying to find a place to stay. The docent (a name tag) finds him and gives him a tour. He learns all about the different people who work at a museum and what kinds of things one finds in a museum. Toward the end of the tour, Stub finds the restoration room and becomes stuck to a painting (a collage). He is happy to have found a home. The book will include a glossary of museum terms.

A Whimsical Look Behind the Scenes

Meet Me at the Museum is a cute behind-the-scenes field trip in a book. Full of imagination and fun, adventurous readers can learn bits and pieces of what an art museum is for as well as spark an interest to go see one in person. Full of vocabulary to learn who is who and what is what at the museum. It would be a fun resource for school.
