There's no book that does what this does - celebrate all the big milestones in a small child's life, like the day you get dressed or your teeth all by yourself for the first time, or the day you can reach the top shelf or turn a somersault or write your name. The age range of achievement is two to four, and the book is arranged so that children can have the satisfaction of looking back to what they couldn't do when they were smaller, and forwards to what they will be big enough to do soon. Like "Calling All Toddlers", this is a wonderful early learning book that will help small children with concepts of measuring, counting, time and many other skills. Francesca Simon, well known for her texts for this age group, has written a sequence of catchy rhymes, illustrated by Susan Winter with bright, appealing pictures of lots of small children doing different things. Children love looking at pictures of other children and comparing themselves, and this book is a rich source of ideas, talking points and things to do.
