Elizabeth Towne was a key figure in the New Thought movement in the early twentieth century. Not only was she the founder and editor of the Nautilus magazine (a prominent New Thought themed periodical in her time), she was also the publisher behind many classic New Thought books written by such notables as William Walker Atkinson (pen name Yogi Ramacharaka), and a writer in her own right. In her book "How to Use New Thought in Home Life" Towne explores how applying New Thought principles to one's domestic life can promote a more harmonious family.
