Robert Black was a child of an alcoholic, and became an alcoholic himself by age 17. Over the course of the next forty years, he would also be a drunk driver, an abusive husband and father, and after a stint in a treatment center he would become a recovering alcoholic. All those years of drinking beer, wine, and whiskey could have made him a wet brain case. One Friday night, some peculiar events changed his life around, and after the car wrecks, barroom fights, suicide attempts and other assorted risks, he was able to start living a sober and much happier life than ever before.
