Acan, God of Wine and Intoxication, knows how to have a good time, but also goes by Belch, which is so damn funny to me! Once he finally realizes that he needs to live a sober life for a bit, so he can find his mate. It is quite the adventure for him to do so. He needs to find his mate before his powers peak during on New Year's Eve because we all know it'll be bad news if he doesn't find her by then.
And that's where Margarita comes in, how fitting is that?! She's had a tough life from escaping an abusive relationship, raising her daughter as a single parent and trying to make a life for the both of them. And now that her daughter is 16, whoo ... sounds like good times. I was teenager once, I can only imagine raising a teenager! (Sorry, mom and dad!). With Margariting working and worrying constantly, she has no time to live. She stays away from the party scene and doesn't drink any alcohol.
Once these two meet, they quickly realize that they're complete opposites, but yet they seem to complement each other quite well. And there's in instant draw towards each other. However, there will be the push and pull between these two for the better half of the book. Will these two just give in to what each other wants? Can Acan tone down the life of the party for Margarita?
Now, I must say that Zac and Tula need their own book! PLEASE, those two are just killing me. And Cimil ... the many things I have to say about Cimil. Seeing who the mates end up being in this series is definitely my favorite part, I look forward to the next installment to this fun series!
