Specially bred women are used as expendable warrior pilots; their task is to fly the deadly defence fighters. The Sibew women are fast and unpredictable; ideal for fighting computer controlled enemies. A personal all-knowing self-ambulating weapon known as a Baronian robot assists the women. Two Sibew and a Baron fly each machine in combat. Through an accident one fighter is cast through a time warp into the 12th century and crashes on Earth, the inworld.
