An ancient prophecy speaks of a time of war and calls for a warrior: the only one able to save the world from a time of imminent darkness and an incredible force of evil. The time has come for the warrior to arise, and that is where Sheer comes into play. Sheer is a song sparrow, who wakes with no memory and no hearing, but with strange abilities and visions that he does not understand. He begins a search for his past that becomes a quest to win the war against evil. All he knows is that a mysterious darkness has taken over a snake, a crow, and a wolf, intending the destruction of everything that is good. Sheer must learn to overcome his struggles, master his abilities, distinguish friend from foe, and have faith in the darkest of times.
