After the unexplained event happened that changed the world, Jack and Beth gathered their family and survived. Later, they joined with other survivors and formed the small town of Unity. This alliance was important for their security and the united effort of the residents made living in the new After world easier for them all. Fifteen years after the world changed, some of the citizens of Unity were compelled to leave the town they had lived safely in for so long. They wanted to see what was really out there in the world beyond their limited perimeters. One thing they knew was out there, was danger.
