Erann is home and Sereh is cured from her strange illness but their joy is short lived as unexpectedly meeting on Vatna Jokull, the Librarian and Emma break the terms of the long ago `Agreement' thrusting Emma into her past, and the Librarian into a strange, trancelike state.
Erann and Sereh must use the clues left by the Librarian and discovered by Greeneyes to return them to their former selves.
