ZomoSapienS is a totally new twist to the zombie lore. The author uses nanotechnology of the future to create versions of monsters from our past. After an accident leaving Laura Appleton technically dead, the nanites in her body change her at a DNA level. She awakens in a morgue and starts chopping down on the bodies around her and infecting them. They awaken with a deadly hunger for human flesh. This is how the zombie infection begins. Once the zombies have enough to eat the hunger calms down and they realize that they have to stop the zombie spread so they can save humanity...for dinner.
