The text features practical help and a number of worked examples throughout. All the problems involve the use of real experimental data and illustrate some of the difficulties encountered with such data, where there is no "correct" answer. Most of the procedures mentioned are included in the computer package CHEMSTAT, which is also available from the authors. However, this text could also be used in conjunction with other statistical packages.
