When gunslinger Clint Halloran rides into Plainsville to help out his old pal Jeff Deacon, he expects to put a speedy end to Deacon's troubles...but things don't quite work out that way. Halloran finds Deacon on the point of being lynched so he fires a shot which plunges him headfirst into his friend's feud.
