The four titles which make up the series are Games, Investigations, Puzzles and Mental Mathematics, and each title contains three books covering a range of ability levels. Each book has the teachers' pages opposite the pupil's page. The teacher pages contain comprehensive notes giving the mathematical content of each pupil page and the apparatus needed for each activity; ideas for developing each activity in the form of questions, extensions and variations; an indication of the level of work attainable from each pupil page; and a full discussion of the possible outcomes and answers. The pupil pages give numerous self-contained activities which use simple language, apparatus readily available in the classroom and line drawings.
