I read this book in high school and remember it being good, and when I saw it for sale on audible, I had to "reread" it! I felt so heartbroken for Charlie as a mentally challenged man, cheered him on as he underwent the surgery to get smarter, and felt all his ups and downs after that point. A beautiful story I'm glad I took the time to experience again. There were only a few points I thought the story lagged a bit, but I'm just being picky. 4.5/5 stars!

This book is only just about every top list of science fiction I've come across, and with good reason. Charlie journey thoughout the book is presented in a memorable way that sticks with you for how personal it is by making this story Charlies journal.

If I was inclined to really long shelf names this would be on the books-i-read-in-highschool-and-didn't-really-enjoy shelf. I don't remember much except that I didn't care for this book.
