I didn't enjoy Darren and Charlene's story as much as I did the other stories in this series. I think it's because they both had a very heavy back story, but it took a very long time for them to share. And so, even if I was able to guess quite a bit of Charlene's trauma, it was a little too late when everything came out into the open.

Darren and Charlene were so not what I thought they were. *Raise your hand if you though those pearls were a collar???* I enjoyed this book, especially when Alex, Randy, Miller and Lance came across as relationship gurus compared to Darren. I loved the epilogue to see who much this group has changed, or in the case of Violet stayed her unfiltered best.
