Kai Lüftner was born in East Berlin. He is a children's and youth book author, musician, composer, audio book editor and director. In the meantime he has published more than 20 books, celebrated many successes with his children's music project "Rotz'N'Roll" and musical concerts. Kai Lüftner lives with his family on the Danish Baltic Sea island of Bornholm.
