Award-winning author Brett Cogburn was raised in Texas and Oklahoma. He has made his living at everything from working as a cowboy, to a horse trainer, to an oilfield worker, to a writer. Whether setting his novels in the Old West or the 21st century, Brett focuses on characters, the real and the eccentric, that make the human condition so special and entertaining. He holds a BA in English with a minor in history, and currently makes his home with his family on a little ranch in Oklahoma.
