Catherine Walter was born in the UK and grew up in Kent, "the Garden of England" - but only 10 miles South of London. For as long as she can remember, she has loved to write and illustrate her own stories. She knew all the flowers, birds and neighborhood cats & dogs - so her pictures were always buzzing with life.
