Born in Hamilton, Ontario and raised in Etobicoke, a suburb of Toronto, Ken first volunteered in grade six so he could skip class. That memorable event led to over 60 years of volunteering.Following his 43-year professional career as a landscape architect he is now retired and living in Hedley B.C. He spends his time reading, writing, gardening, volunteering and walking his dog Gemma daily beside Hedley Creek.
