L. Wood enjoys living in the countryside of the Great Lakes Region. When she's not writing or working with animals as a veterinary technician, she loves spending time with her family, playing volleyball, and hiking. If a sparkling pool, lake, or pond is nearby, it's hard for her to resist the urge to jump in-much like her dog. And, of course, there's always room for ice cream, no matter the time of day.
